The 26th Anniversary Race to the Sky Sled Dog Race – February 11, 2011

On Friday, February 11, all the exciting events leading up to the Race to the Sky Sled Dog Race will get started in Butte. Beginning at 9 a.m. the school visits and vet checks will take place. You can Meet the Mushers at Metals Sports Bar & Grill from noon to 4 p.m. The Local Dog Pull Competition will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. behind The Depot, and then from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. the Mushers Dinner, Dance, Raffle, and Auction for Dog Sled ride at the Elk Park will also be held at The Depot.
Events will continue throughout the opening weekend and on Sunday, February 13, at 2 p.m. the Continuous Start of the 350 Mile Dog Sled Race will commence.
