10th Annual Ice Sculpting Contest – December 11, 2010

On Saturday Uptown Butte will be hosting one of the "Coolest" events of the year! The festivities will get started in the morning with a Breakfast with Santa, which will be held at Metals Sports Grill & Bar ($7 per person). And Santa will of course be bringing along early gifts for all the good children, and lumps of coal for those that are naughty.
Then the Ice Sculpting Contest will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., and will feature ice carvers from all over the Hill as teams chip away at 340-pound ice blocks right in front of Uptown businesses. Spectators will be able to watch this artistry progress throughout the day.
